For those of you who read the accidental late night post- my apologies. I hate it when I do that. I have unplublished it. Late-night rantings are not meant to be shared. Not unless they can withstand next day scrutiny. Most of mine can’t.
So for now- look at my comforting bowl of soup. Yes, there really is soup under all that Parmesan. If you want some you can make some: Cabbage Garlic Soup for a Summer Cold I just had it for lunch.
I feel like I need to tape something to my forehead.
My kid slept in until 12pm today. I don’t think he’s ever done that in his whole ten years of life. I should go take his temperature.
I don’t really like today but I’m not sure why.
I think part of it is too much social interaction of an exhausting nature.
I really love Patricia Arquette’s teeth.
Pete the snake shed his skin!
Got to get back to work.
No apology needed for rants of any kind. Mine can strike anytime, so I don’t mind yours.
I like P. A.’s teeth too. Very similar to mine. Although, mine were straight until the wisdom teeth came in, now watch out British actors!
Speaking of reptilian buddies, we have a toad that has made our porch his/her? hang out. It has been sleeping in various pots and is now in residence in the new rosemary start I just bought.
Then you have sexy teeth and I’m envious! I’ve been watching the show “Medium” and I absolutely love how Patricia Arquette isn’t stupid-skinny either. She’s not fat, not skinny, she’s MEDIUM sized!!! What kind of ridiculous world do we live in that seeing an actress be a kind of average weight is reason for a hyper spaz attack of enjoyment? Lordy. I also love that even though her character spends a lot of time in bed (due to all the important dreaming and all) she isn’t dressed sexy all the time. I stayed up way too late last night watching episodes.
How sweet that you have a resident toad! Does he croak at night? I love frogs and toads (and really don’t know the diff between them- should look this up)
I’ll have to remember that… sexy teeth! So funny!!! I remember that show. It was good, I didn’t realize it was still on. We don’t have one of those TV digital thingies. We just don’t watch TV. I watch stuff online or from the library. I should order some from the library. It was a good show. I remember her being stressed, tired, MEDIUM sized (right down your alley- ha… alley)!!! Did you ever see her in a TV movie called Wildflower? She played a deaf girl. Very good. I’ve been watching Lark Rise to Candleford on YouTube. I love period shows. And there are loads of episodes!!!
The toad is so cute. I haven’t heard it make a noise. I don’t know much about them either.
I was telling my son, Eddy, about Max and Pete. He thought it was pretty neat that Pete ate a tadpole and shed his skin. Ah, sons.
We don’t have cable so I have no idea if it’s still on – my mom has netflix and netflix streaming and they have all the available episodes so we’ve been watching it on there. Plus I sometimes watch things on hulu or on the PBS website. I LOVE Lark Rise to Candleford- such a great show!!! I love period pieces too but not the depressing ones, so that cuts out quite a few. I never saw “Wildflower” – I’ll see if I can get it either at my local movie rental place or on netflix.
Eddy is a lot older than Max, right? (He’s driving age- right?) Sons are funny. Glad Eddy can appreciate the snake dealio- I’m totally fascinated myself. Pete looks all shiny new now.
